Hope This Counts

I figured for another post I'd continue a class discussion. Well it really wasn't a discussion, more like just instruction: I forgot to ask something when Prof. Jolly was telling us about the blogs. I think I know the answer, but can we repeat the kind of posts we do? Like have two reading responses or two discussion continuations? I mean, it doesn't say anywhere that we can't. But then again, with the Other Posts part on the blog guidelines, there's five possibilities, so I thought maybe we had to do one of each. Maybe I'll just ask in class.

Share something about the writing process? Yeah, i guess this would count: alright, for the evaluation paper, I chose to review the Kingdom Hearts video game series. I chose to do the whole series mostly because i couldn't find 8 sources on just one game. But now I have a problem again: part of the assignemnt is to give a description of what we're evaluating. I figured since the series is one long story, I'd try to summarize it as shortly as possible. Turns out "as shortly as possible" is still about two pages. I guess that's not horribly long for summarizing four games that are all about the story. But it still feels like too much of my essay will just be summary, and that'll short-change the actual evaluation. But then, one of the major points is that the series stands out because of that great story. So I'm kinda stuck: risk the evaluation being overshadowed by a summary, or risk not getting that major point across. What a drag...but i suppose I have some time to decide, and peer review should help with that.
